As we move towards our holiday break, we will focus on FINISHING STRONG. Our “FINISH STRONG” theme is all about making every moment count our last few days. To FINISH STRONG, students need to focus on three things: Coming to school on time every day, paying attention in class and keeping a positive mindset even when a subject is difficult and do their homework every night. Completing homework every night helps to build on what was taught to your child earlier in the day. This practice is extremely important. Part of that homework is reading thirty minutes every night. This is extremely important as students will build vocabulary, improve their inferencing skills and get better at using context clues. Students can read to or with a family member. As we work on FINISHING STRONG, we really need and appreciate your support with making sure your son/daughter is here on time daily, reminding your son/daughter to pay attention in class and keep that positive mindset and checking to make sure homework is completed Monday through Thursday. As always, if you need anything or have questions about anything, please call me at 694-2097.

We appreciate your support in helping us to continue to move forward academically.

Thanks,

Dr. LeMaster
